Sentient Property Referendum Set
For July 20

The President has signed into law the so-called Mann Act. This will force a binding referendum on the status of artificial beings, to be held on July 20th of this year. Should the Mann Referendum pass, you can be assured that the SPCB has a plan in place that will allow it to rapidly evolve to serve the needs of all American citizens; newly-minted as well as long-standing ones. But: it is extremely important to note that, as of now, the legal status of sentient property has not changed. The SPCB will continue to aggressively pursue its mandate under current law until such time as that law changes.
